• Poor and needy children, especially girls from the rural and urban areas are provided full school fee including admission fee for education.
  • Most of these children were girls, and from scheduled caste and OBCs.
  • As part of its educational development initiative for poor rural and urban children, foundation supported 333 students who have been provided support for fees, books and other materials during last 10 years as given in table 2.

  • Vocational Training and Economic Empowerment: A Vocational training centre for soft toy was supported during 2004-09 in collaboration with education department U.T. Chandigarh for slum children at Govt. Girls High School sector 25, Chandigarh which was initially supported by the foundation to make itself sustainable.
  • A total of 65 poor slum girls were trained for making soft toys under the scheme.
